Family, friends, partners, and yourself — everyday life is made
of many forms of love. Here, we borrow a Buddhist perspective
to gently look again at the relationships close to us.

Children receive it without noticing; only in becoming
a parent do we often sense how deep it runs.

Partner Love
A love that walks side by side can’t run on passion
alone. Like the spirit of “ondobō” (fellow travelers) —
no hierarchy, just two people facing the same direction.

Trivia

Someone who simply stays beside you, without weighing
gain or loss. A friend who walks the road with you

Buddhism turns a gentle gaze even toward the self
that keeps blaming itself. The compassion that says
“you’re fine as you are” can be turned toward yourself, too.
